Did you know that nearly all our projects center around training? Since we work with highly skilled musicians in our program countries, most training focuses on how musicians can use their skills for social change.

From 8th till 12th of May, teachers and student-trainees from Roma Rock School together with our partners Mitrovica Rock School attended a training week at Fontys Rockacademie in Tilburg, the Netherlands, as part of our Music Connects project, co-funded by the European Union.

The training week focused on innovative teaching methods and demand-driven learning but also included outings to Rock City Institute in Eindhoven and Fontys’ Curiosity Café. Our participants had the opportunity to learn from some of the best educators in the field and exchange ideas and best practices with their peers.

We can’t wait to apply what we’ve learned to our classrooms.
