From August 18th to 21st, Struga, North Macedonia, was the stage for a remarkable summer camp that blended music with multicultural education. This event brought together 30 enthusiastic youngsters—15 from Roma Rock School and 15 from Red Cross Skopje—under a project funded by the UNDP titled “Prevention of Violence Fueled by Ethnic Intolerance Through Music.”
The camp offered a rich program designed to foster both musical and social skills. Roma Rock School facilitators led engaging rhythm workshops, allowing participants to explore different musical styles and techniques. These sessions provided a platform for creative expression and collaboration.
In parallel, Red Cross facilitators conducted workshops focused on multiculturalism, volunteering, tolerance, and acceptance. These sessions aimed to build a deeper understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures, promoting harmony and mutual respect among the participants.
